A landscape plan consisting of gardens filled with plants and blooms can be lovely. To take it up a notch, it’s great to create destinations in your yard. A concrete, stone or brick paver path leading to a sweet bench under an arbor covered with wisteria can become a tranquil pace to sit and relax on a cool summer afternoon, or evening.
Often, when clients come to me they know they want more plants and greenery in the yards, but they also want to the yard to look a little different from their neighbors. They want it to look more casual, or some want a look that’s more formal.
There are some instances where parents and grandparents are interested in suggestions which will help to draw the younger family members outside and away from electronics. A path which leads to a cutting garden can be one way to achieve that. Boys or girls, it doesn’t matter, almost everyone loves to pick some flowers to give to their parents or grandparents.
Contact Palm Coast Lawn and Landscape for a custom brick paver path through your garden.
Raised planting beds where as a family, you can plant lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers and squash. You would be surprised how much a child can learn from planting the seeds, nurturing and weeding and preparing a meal using produce grown in their own little garden.
Those are quiet times where each of us can work side by side, with one another. Nothing fighting to take our attention away from each other. Just hands in the dirt, planting seeds, watering and watching the little sprigs peek up out of the soil.
Palm Coast Lawn and Landscape would love to help you design a landscape plan that makes your grounds beautiful and perhaps provides you a special place to share with your friends and family.
